Executive Leadership Coaching

You have big aspirations for yourself, your team, your organization. You’re facing more complexity than ever. And you’re likely here because someone you trust thought we should meet, so…

Let’s Talk

About You

  • You're already delivering at senior levels of leadership. But something feels like it's costing you more than it should, perhaps your energy, your patience, your sense of possibility.

  • You want to be more strategic, more influential across the organization, and better at building and leading teams that actually perform.

  • You've watched someone close to you work with a coach and come out the other side meaningfully different - how they lead, how they show up, how they think, and just how they seem. And you want that.

Before I was a coach I was a corporate executive — VP roles across operations, sales, marketing, and change leadership. I know what it actually feels like to be in your seat. (High stakes decisions and pressure, hiring, firing, managing up, fighting for resources, navigating broken exec teams, feeling inspired, feeling burnt out.) I then brought all of that, plus rigorous coach training, into my practice, and have spent 20+ years helping senior leaders become more of the leader they aspire to be. This combination of a full executive career followed by extensive coaching experience is rarer than you might think.

About Me

About Our Coaching Together

The 4E Model

An iterative, pragmatic approach to growth and change - focused on what’s of most consequence to you and your future.

  • Imagine and articulate your ideal self and a personal vision. Who do you want to be as a leader, colleague, partner, friend? What do you want to accomplish?

  • Who are you today? Values, beliefs, strengths and weaknesses? How do you see yourself and how do others see you? Where are the most critical deltas between now and your desired future state?

  • We’ll design an ever-evolving roadmap for achieving your aspirations. Tapping into your strengths and learning preferences, we’ll use an extensive library of tools and frameworks to build skills, shift mindsets and approach challenges. We’ll design “experiments” for applying new thinking and skills. De-briefing and reflecting on outcomes helps fuel impactful change.

  • We'll cycle through these steps continuously, each pass deeper than the last, as your context, challenges, and aspirations evolve.

The Logistics

  • Simple monthly retainer, or a 9-12 month engagement.

  • 60-90 minute coaching sessions twice per month.

  • Access and accountability in between sessions.

  • Feedback capture, alignment with your manager or other stakeholders, as relevant.

Working with teams and organizations

Meaningful and sustainable change often comes from developing individual leaders while also strengthening the teams and systems within which they operate.

When the need is broader than one leader, I help design an approach that scales, drawing on a trusted network of master coaches to support leadership teams, organizational cohorts, or specific development initiatives. I stay involved as the architect and your primary partner throughout.

  • "Whether it was updating process, figuring out how I could contribute best, fixing broken teams, influencing management or just staying sane, Tawny always had the right direction when I was lost and helped me keep the engineering needle just under the red zone."

    - VP of Product Growth and Engineering

  • "My individual progress with Tawny as my coach brought me a new-found level of professionalism and leadership on a local and industry-wide basis. For my team Tawny created and led a smart program that exceeded our expectations. She challenged us, taught us, and left us a better team and improved results. She's a results-oriented professional - I’m still seeing improvements in our organization's effective and efficient use of communication, feedback, and collaboration. I wholeheartedly recommend Tawny as a coach and group facilitator!"

    - Director at top 5 university

  • “Tawny is one of those few people who can both see the big picture and make sure all the details are running correctly. She has a talent for quickly discerning the right course of action in ambiguous situations and her communications and technical skills enable her to work effectively with others of diverse backgrounds. Her ability to remain calm in stressful situations, her self-effacing manner and her sense of humor make her an effective leader. It would be my privilege to work with Tawny again in the future.”

    - Former colleague/direct report

  • "Tawny is amazing and inspirational. She has an ability to enable you to spin out of negative reactions and focus on what can be done and how you can gain control. She's super empathetic and genuine. Had my trust immediately."

    - VP of Central Tech

  • "One of the most beneficial aspects of my coaching with Tawny was how she challenged my internal monologues... She helped me see things in a different perspective. This has made me an incredibly thoughtful leader. "
